ReplyDeleteIf I was a political philosopher, I would make a philosophy about the youth as our key for success in the future. We were once children as well. Now, we are the one leading the ways for the upcoming generations. If we would set inspiration to the youth and become a great teachers and leaders we would be able to show them great potentials in expressing themselves. As they grow up, we could show them the beauty in life and in doing the good for they would be able to lead the way in the future for the betterment of everything in state, country, or even the world. Not only they could learn from us, but we could also learn from them so that we may remember the the laughter in sense of once being a child. We would remember how we grew and been able to be as we are now, that soon they shall just like us too.
2) Being a political scientist, I would choose the perspective of the Philippines Institutions, because the Philippines is a democratic country which provides fairness in voting. We also have divided our administrators and higher officials between Executive, Legislative, and Judiciary which makes a difference between china. Our benefits from it is the equal division of the higher officials in the government. Lastly, there are no abusive use of power.

ReplyDelete1. If I were to be a political philosopher, I must learn certain knowledge that which can help me to understand the empirical world of politics. These knowledge such as Power, Freedom, Rights, Laws, Liberty and so many more may contribute a big part of formulating political ideologies which can be exercised. By using the current interaction in politics today, it is right, as a political philosopher, to contest the government by knowing its inequalities and using it against itself, to test its capabilities to comply, of which then I, can formulate political ideologies to be exercised or observed. In the perspective of a political philosopher, an ideology must equate to an idealistic or realistic sense which may be beneficial to the society. While political scientists theories are far more empirical for it is based on studies which might certainly occur according to such circumstances. As a political philosopher, I must seek questions, and draw hypothetical answers in order to formulate ideologies which might be beneficial to the state and its government.
2. I will use Realism, because the current relationship of the Philippines and China is more of a conflict of interests. So in order to get in both sides of the conflict, you must focus on the interactions done previously, and know which of the both states dominates according to power. The Executive body of the government of the state must be the one whom shall interact with the other, for it is the role of the executive division to represent the state in international issues. As the chief executive of the state with full mastery of the power, the president must settle disputes that might harm the national security. The latter must use realistic form of interaction in order to get through the main objective without stressing the importance of national security. It is important for the chief executive whom uses its diplomatic power to represent the country, to have the greatest mastery in international communication. Because in terms of international relations, miscommunication is the main reason of mere anarchy.

ReplyDelete1. My political philosophy, if I was a political philosopher, would be formulated by my political beliefs in which the framework would primarily be on core values. The core values would come from a mindset of putting an answer to a problem that is present, a problem that should have already been given an objective analysis on. Being a political philosopher to formulate a political philosophy would require an objective point of view. Therefore, ideals will be set aside as it only ends up becoming political theories since that would only discuss how such ideals can be maintained while they are seen as credible. Political theories can be an initial basis of ideas from core values but that usually remains subjective in nature. In formulating political philosophies; however, remain empirical because it does not dwell on what appeals the humanities- a form of art, which again remains subjective.
2. To study international relations between the Philippines and China would have me use a realist perspective. The main priority would be to characterize and analyze the similarities and the differences of the two nation-states based on their interactions, traits, and heel of reasoning; basically for the most part, their behavior and capabilities. The Department of Foreign Affairs can be a medium in studying the international relations between the two states in a realist manner, simply because it is a government agency of the Philippines that intends to establish diplomatic relations with other countries in order to have good standing with each other, to further acknowledge that without a social power to hold diplomatic ties, the international environment is rather chaotic. Both of the states own capabilities under the realist perspective can be thoroughly analyzed to see how much they can dare to make a move. With the realist perspective, if we are to analyze the traits of the states and how they function according to their reasoning. We can also easily find an insight to show how a possible compromise can take place, how they can cooperate, and also how they can oppose each other in that sense.
